Job Search Mind Programming (Law of Attraction)

Mental success programming has been around since ancient times. The “Emerald Tablet”, an ancient mystery document was translated into Latin as Secretum Secretorum (The Secret of Secrets). And the secret is simply this…

“That which is below is as that which is above, and that which is above is as that which is below, to perform the miracles of the one thing.”

What this is believed to mean is that, whatever you focus your inner thoughts, desires, and emotions on, will manifest into your reality!  Amazingly there is actually some truth to this. It’s been scientifically proven through the placebo effect.  That’s where a person who has a tumor, cancer, or other documented illness, is given a pill or a shot and told that this is a new miracle cure!  If the sick person really believes it is “the miracle cure”, their body heals itself completely. Even of otherwise incurable illnesses. The thing is, the shot or pill was fake, a sugar pill! The only thing that caused them to heal was what they believed.

Scientifically, athletes have been studied for performance. And those who visualize themselves succeeding in their events prior to a competition usually do much better than those who don’t!

So whatever you think about this whole concept, at least keep an open mind and give the following exercise a try.  Hey it can only help and it can’t hurt. Lets see how we can apply mental programming to help improve your success in getting a job.

Now here’s a very powerful method for creating a job winning persona, here’s what you want to do…

Every morning before you get out of bed, and each night before you go to sleep from now until you find your next job, do this…

As you lay on your bed both in the evening and in the morning, imagine yourself going through the winning job search process and landing a job.  Imagine it as if it’s really real.

See yourself having the best possible résumé and cover letter that any manager has ever seen.  Imagine yourself answering the phone and being invited to an interview at an awesome company.  Imagine yourself as positive, upbeat, and confident in your interview, and see yourself as getting along fabulously with the hiring manager, and everyone else at the company.  Then, see yourself accepting a new fantastic job with the new company!  Feel excited about it, feel happy about it.  Enjoy all the wonderful feelings of this experience, as if it is absolutely real.  See and feel yourself getting your first nice paycheck from this great new job!

Remember to do this exercise before you go to sleep, and before you wake up every day.  Don’t get out of bed until you do this exercise every morning.

This little exercise will make a huge difference in a very short time.  Don’t worry about the results of the previous day, or the results of the next day, or the results of today.

Just do this exercise every night before you go to sleep and every morning before you get up.  Very soon, you may be surprised to find that these things you are thinking and dreaming about are actually your new reality!

Happy job hunting!
